New Mexico fiber artist Rebecca Bluestone will present a slide presentation and lecture on Saturday, October 28 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Spiva Center for the Arts.
She will speak about the tremendous amount of information available via one’s individual intuition, beginning with the premise “We all know things that we don’t know we know.” Bluestone believes this is where true creativity and the unique individual artistic statement arise. In sharing her own process and inspiration, she will connect her journey as an artist to the larger picture of each individual finding passion for their life and creative expression. Says Bluestone, “By accessing the inner, more nonverbal part of ourselves, we begin to experience a sense of being engaged in our lives that allows creative expression to effortlessly flow into all aspects of lives, whether we are artists or not.”
