Free grantwriting workshop at Spiva Center for the Arts
Wednesday, November 1 (10 a.m.-noon)
From Spiva reports
10/31/06
The Missouri Arts Council (MAC), a division of the Department of Economic Development, annually awards approximately $2 million in grants to Missouri organizations for art activities.
MAC Program Specialists Marie Berens and Michael Donovan will be featured in two Southwest Missouri workshops, "MAC on Tour: The Road to Funding," Wednesday, November 1, to share information about exciting changes in MAC’s grant application process.
New and returning applicants will find the workshops useful since MAC has streamlined its guidelines, application form, and procedures! The workshops also offer attendees the opportunity to network and promote their own programs. New this year: An optional Arts Roundtable at a restaurant afterwards.
Arts organizations are encouraged to attend one of two Southwest Missouri workshops that will be held Wednesday, November 1.
