Spiva's 12 x 12 AUCTION ends TODAY!
67 + 1 original works of art will go home with the winning bidder Friday night ! Bid high online , be at the opening (at Spiva, 222 W. 3rd St, Joplin, 5:30-7:30 p.m.), or send a trusted proxy to secure your winning bid !

We know there's lots going on, and you may need to be elsewhere Friday night, but here's the deal: You have until 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon to place a bid online that's high enough to knock out the competition & win your favorite 12 x 12! Go ahead, visit online and see for yourself!

You already know the 12 x 12 Auction is a great chance to own fun & fabulous original work by established and emerging artists (and we know a lot of you are waiting it out to see what will happen at the last minute).

So have some fun. Participate in a generous tradition . Acknowledge your favorite artists & their generosity by bidding in this year's 12 x 12 Auction. Thanks to them, all proceeds help Spiva offer great educational programs throughout the year.

More about the 12 x 12's

Spiva member-artists have come forth once again with a delightful variety of original artworks to entice, dazzle, and captivate avid collectors and art fans.

This year‘s 12 x 12 Auction has 67 offerings — paintings , mixed media pieces, fiber works, prints, photographs, ceramics, and collages—by longtime members, recent members, and brand new members!

The 12x12s have been donated by these members, who have set the minimum bids. All proceeds go to support the Center’s exhibits and programs.

Many of you have already picked your favorite ones to watch, to bid on, to hopefully win. Anyone can bid—members and non-members—in person, using the bid sheets posted in Spiva’s lobby, or online.

Winners can pay for shipping, so everyone— local folks or out-of-state bidders—can join the fun. It’s a great way to support Spiva, too!

Remember online bidding is good until 4:30pm, Friday, November 30. After that, you’ll have to attend the evening opening reception of the 60th Membership Show and face.africa. Be the last one to enter the last bid before the bell rings to close the auction, and you win! (Or be sure your online bid is high enough to beat out all competitors!)

Those who pay that evening can take home their new artworks. Cash, check, MasterCard and Visa will be accepted.

Our sincere thanks to all the members who contributed to this event, with a special Thank You to The Joplin Globe for online support of this year’s 12x12 Auction.
