The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming! The Russian Ballet Company - Moscow Ballet ballerina Miss Ruslana Apreleva will be arriving in Joplin October 6, 2008 to audition area dancers for “The Great Russian Nutcracker Ballet." What a treat for Joplinites and what awesome experiences for local dancers to participate in an event such as this.

Open Auditions will be held on October 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Northpark Mall on Range Line Road in Joplin, Mo. No audition fee.

Boys and Girls 7–18, must be enrolled in a dance program and have had at least one year of dance training.
