57. Junge Bakery and Junge Park (Demolished)
(West side of 18th & 19th and Main)

In 1900 twenty-year-old August Junge borrowed $20,000 from his father and built a bakery. In 1915 he and his brother Albert constructed a three-story bread plant between 18th & 19th on Main. They also created the popular Junge Park, a highly manicured green space showcasing themed displays that changed with each season.
