63. Ozark Bible College

[Now Ozark Christian College]

In the fall of 1944, Ozark Bible College moved from Bentonville, Arkansas to Joplin and purchased Georgia Cragin’s house for $12,500. The college converted the residence for use as an office, library,
girls' dormitory, cafeteria, and classroom building. In 1959 College representatives purchased some property off North Main and built a new campus, which opened in the fall of 1963.
