Joel D. Chaston, Distinguished Professor of English at Missouri State University, will be the featured speaker at the October 23rd meeting of the Creamery Writers' Workshop held from 7 to 8:30pm in The Creamery Arts Center across from Hammons Field. The CWW is open to all writers of all ages, experience and genres.

Chaston teaches courses in Children’s, Young Adult, and British Literature. He is the author of numerous critical articles, and has written extensively on the life and works of L. Frank Baum, author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
