for artists
We
are calling for all regional artists who wish to
show their work at Spiva.
This is a great opportunity for you to show your
work to the residents of the area in
which you live and work.

Spiva has a nice gallery space on the second floor
of the art center, with recently installed track lighting.
The gallery has approximately 850 square feet of floor
space with 144 running feet of wall space.
To be considered you must reside in an approximate
100-mile radius of Spiva Center for the Arts. This
call is open to all artists, regardless of membership
in Spiva Center for the Arts. Work may be in any medium,
but may not exceed 72" x 72" or 100 pounds.
Bring or send a copy of your portfolio, along with
a brief bio and your artists' statement, for Spiva
to examine and keep. (Photographs and handwritten
statements are acceptable.) The Regional Focus Gallery
Committee will select work that will complement the
show in the Main Gallery downstairs. You may be asked
to show alone, or with a group, but you will be contacted
well in advance so that you will have time to prepare
for a show of this size.
Your work will be insured while you exhibit at Spiva.
