Out of Africa: A Legacy of Inspiration and Change
Figural sculptures, ritual masks and hand woven textiles from ten African countries
with work by Harlem Renaissance painters Romare Bearden and Jacob Lawrence. Presented by Pedro and Alice Pantoja.

March 11 – April 10, 2005                
Challenge III: The Teapot Form
2-D? 3-D? Functional? Not? Challenge to all area artists to create an original work based on the teapot form. Silent auction benefits artists and Spiva.

April 15 – May 22, 2005                   
PhotoSpiva 2005
Amateurs and professionals vie for awards in Spiva’s
acclaimed nationwide photographic competition. Since 1977.

Subjects & Objects: The Art of Casey Downing, Jr.
Bronze. Paper. Graphite. Steel. Sculpture and drawings by an Alabama original.
